A day at the playground when we were kids always meant creating instant friendships with kids we just met, traveling to distant lands, and letting our imaginations run free. We didn't need much more than space to run around, swings that would allow us to kick the sky, and a slide that usually burned in the hot summer sun. This castle-themed playground in Pennsylvania is sure to bring up memories of yesteryear as you watch your kiddos get lost in their imaginations.
Kids Castle in Doylestown has been setting kids' imaginations on fire since it opened during the summer of 1997. However, it's recently undergone upgrades that make it a Pennsylvania playground for kids of all abilities.
The inclusive playground promises fun for everyone - from those with mobility impairments and cognitive disabilities to kids with hearing and visual impairments.
The castle is, hands down, the masterpiece of this inclusive park, but there's so much more for the kids to do that time will simply melt away during your visit.
Watch as they cross a footbridge, slip down a slide, and...
Explore the pirate ship.
Kids Castle also features spring riders, climbers, and slides.
Join the kiddos on a nature hunt, where they'll find panels about different animals. It's fun and they'll learn something new.
Running and playing can get a bit tiring. Kids Castle has the answer with some oversized fun - a tic tac toe panel, a drum panel, and a chime panel.
There's so much to see and do at Kids Castle that you really have to go and explore for yourself.
Kids Castle welcomes families all year round and is open daily from dawn to dusk.
