A few steep inclines and some water crossings earn this picturesque path a moderate rating, although most give it glowing marks for the scenery.
If you're hiking after rain, be prepared for plenty of mud. You might want to wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty and wet.
The loop trail's brimming with waterfalls, some more hidden than others. Avoid hiking during a dry spell as the flow of these various falls is dependent on wet weather.
Popular with families with kiddos and dogs (who must remain leashed), the trail is home to numerous waterfalls, streams, and beautiful views.
For a striking contrast, follow this Pennsylvania trail in each season. Frozen waterfalls will greet you in the winter, and towering trees will shade you from the sun in the spring and summer.
