Pennsylvania’s known for its many waterfalls – from the 21 waterfalls along Falls Trail in Ricketts Glen State Park to Raymondskill Falls, the tallest waterfall in the state. Then, there are countless unnamed waterfalls dotting the landscape, hidden gems often discovered by accident. Follow this waterfall hike in Pennsylvania that boasts some of those beautiful but unnamed falls.
Hidden in State Game Lands 36, Bradford Falls Trail is home to a series of small waterfalls that make the relatively easy hike even more enjoyable.
The picturesque hike spans just over two miles, but first you have to get to the trail. You can find a map from All Trails here.
Keep an eye out for a small parking lot off the side of the road. If you arrive at the one-lane road, you’ve gone too far and have passed the parking lot.
From the parking lot, just follow the path that leads along Falls Creek. Be aware that the path can get muddy after a rain, which also happens to be the best time to see the waterfalls at their finest.
Wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes as some of the terrain can get tricky, but the waterfalls along the way make the small challenges well worth the effort.
Dogs are permitted along the trail, but they must be kept leashed. However, you may want to try the hike yourself before bringing younger children along on the adventure.
