Remember how you felt on Christmas Eve as a kid? Too excited to sleep. Maybe even determined to catch a glimpse of Santa, putting presents under the tree. Alas, somehow you always fell asleep before Santa made it to your house. But, at least he took time to eat your cookies, drink your milk, and write a note (in handwriting that suspiciously looked like mom or dad's.) Reclaim some of that childhood magic on this Christmas train in Pennsylvania, as you watch the countryside roll by, alongside Santa himself.
Climb aboard Colebrookdale Railroad's Polar Bear Express, a magical two-hour journey that's sure to provide a plethora of picture-perfect memories.
Settle into your cozy seat on the heated train, decked out in Victorian Christmas decorations, as you wait for the train's engine to start.
Santa's Polar Bear Express features seating in deluxe coach, the dining car, the first class parlor, or the locomotive. A meal is served in the dining car while the first class parlor features hors-d'oeuvres. Drinks are available in deluxe coach.
Listen for the train whistle as the train conductor punches your ticket. Nibble on complimentary Christmas cookies and...
...a piping hot cup of cocoa. And, join in a chorus of Christmas carols...
...as you watch the Pennsylvania countryside — maybe even covered in snow — pass by. Then, of course, comes the moment everyone's been waiting for...
...Santa's arrival. All kids can give their handwritten letter (which they can write on the train before Santa appears). And, Santa will surprise all children with a present.
Or, if you prefer an evening journey, opt for the 'Twas the Night Before Christmas train. Wear your pajamas for the two-hour train ride that features free hot cocoa, a reading of the famous Christmas tale, and, of course, Santa.
Santa's Polar Bear Express and the 'Twas The Night Before Christmas train run on select days from November 17 to December 23, 2018.
Colebrookdale Railroad is located at 64 S. Washington St., Boyertown, PA 19512.
