The weather might be cold and dreary, but you can still enjoy an entire day of splashing and swimming at one of Oregon's indoor water parks. One of our favorite spots is located in Springfield, and you're going to want to make plans now to head over for a day of indoor swimming. Check out Splash! At Lively Park:
Bring on the cold weather; it won't spoil our plans to splash, slide, and swim all day long. Splash! At Lively Park is open seven days a week for indoor swimming fun.
This community indoor water park has something for everyone. From swimming lessons for kids and adults to group exercise to waterslides, you'll definitely find plenty of water fun to fill up your day.
The waterpark area is perfect for kids of all ages. You'll find a wave pool and waterslide...
...and the kiddie pool is great for wading because it's just 8-12 inches deep. The kids pools are kept at a balmy 92 degrees, so you won't find any goosebumps here!
Kids and adults alike will enjoy the swim classes taught by experienced staff. Whether you're new to swimming or just want to improve your form, there's a class for everyone. Swimmers as young as six months can get started!
Water fitness classes are a great way to stay in shape, and an aquatic workout is easy on your joints. Splash! offers group classes like Aquatone, Deep Water Exercise, Ai-Chi, Hydrofit, and more.
This indoor swimming facility also has a 25-yard lap pool with six lanes for lap swimming. No matter what your schedule, you'll be able to fit in a workout with more than 75 hours of lap swimming time offered every week. The lap pool is kept at 84 degrees - the ideal temperature for a warm, but not too hot, workout.
An entire day of water fun might leave you craving a snack, so you'll want to hit up the concessions stand for some sweet or savory treats before you bundle up and head back out into the chilly weather.
Playing at Splash! is affordable; admission for the waterpark and kiddie pool costs just $3-$8 for kids and $7-$10 for adults.
