Spring is in the air and it's time to start planning your next outdoor adventure. One of Oregon's best kept secrets is Bend Whitewater Park. This amazing park in Central Oregon is home to epic man-made whitewater rapids that can be enjoyed by seasoned kayakers and water-loving families alike. Check it out:
Welcome to Bend Whitewater Park, Oregon's first and only whitewater park.
A haven for water sports enthusiasts, this incredible spot is located on the Deschutes River.
The park divides the river into three distinct channels, each providing their own unique water adventure.
The channel on the right is a designated natural area for native fish and wildlife habitat. It is closed to people.
The whitewater channel in the middle features waves that are shaped by computers, creating a dynamic wave play area — the first of its kind on the West Coast.
Experienced kayakers and surfers alike can enjoy these incredible man-made waves.
The left channel is a gentle waterway designed for casual river floaters and stand-up paddle boarders.
No matter your skill level, you're sure to enjoy a day spent at the one-of-a-kind Bend Whitewater Park.
Bend Whitewater Park is located at 166 SW Shevlin Hixon Dr., Bend, OR 97702.
