It’s officially fall and Halloween and Thanksgiving are right around the corner. Now is the time of year you see pumpkins EVERYWHERE! From the drinks we buy to the scents we smell, pumpkins are a staple of fall. A favorite fall activity is going to the pumpkin patch and picking out pumpkins for the fall festivities and pumpkin carving. Not only will you find pumpkins, but you will find hay rides, games, pumpkin bowling, corn mazes and much more. Visit these 15 great pumpkin patches in Oklahoma for a wonderful autumn outing.
1. Pleasant Valley Farms: Sand Springs
A family fun event is held on October 10th and 11th at Pleasant Valley. You will find many vendors, activities and events on these days. It is also open daily in October, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
2. Rustic Acres: Mason
Enjoy rides, pumpkins, games and a corn maze at Rustic Acres starting October 3rd, 2015.
3. Rockin Star Farms: Stillwater
Opening day is October 9th for Rockin Star Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkins. Rockin Star is a premier destination for family fun events and the Pumpkin Palooza is incredible.
4. Pumpkin Town: Tulsa
Pumpkin Town has a petting zoo, barnyard ball zone game, and hop-a-long horse races. Enjoy their most popular attractions: the cow train, pumpkin blaster, and giant jumping pillow. They also offer campfire site reservations. Open September 25th-November 1st for the 2015 season.
5. Peek-a-Boo Petting Zoo and Pumpkin Patch: Gore
This small family farm opens a pumpkin patch the last weekend in September to around the first weekend in November. See many farm animals and even babies while visiting the pumpkin patch.
6. Woodbine Farms Pumpkin Patch: Ardmore
From S'mores to hayrides, you will find it at Woodbine Farms. They are open October 1st-October 31st.
7. Ot-Ots Petting Farm & Pumpkin Patch: Pryor
Kids love playing with all the farm animals while picking out their favorite pumpkin. Come for Spook House on October 31st for many games and activities.
8. Orr Family Farm: Oklahoma City
You will find many fall festivities at Orr Family Farm, one of which is the Pumpkin Patch. You can pick your own Sugar Pie Pumpkins or pick decorative or large pumpkins, as well. Don't forget to check out the extravagant corn maze themed after the Oklahoma City Dodgers for the fall 2015 season.
9. Jahns Pumpkin Hill-Cyril
Jahn's Pumpkin Hill is Southwestern Oklahoma's premier pumpkin patch and will be open for the 2015 season October 1st-31st.
10. Happy Days Farms: Terral
The pumpkin patch opens October 3rd and many activities have been added to Happy Days Farm for a fun fall 2015 season.
11. Chester's Party Barn & Farm: Piedmont
Celebrating their 15th Annual Pumpkin Patch, Chester's will have live music and entertainment, pony rides, hay rides, food trucks, farmers market, maze, giant slides and pumpkins.
12. Celtic Farms: Chelsea

13. Baker's Acres Pumpkin Patch: Tishomingo
