This Humble Little Restaurant In Small Town Oklahoma Is So Old Fashioned, It Doesn’t Even Have A Website
Jincy's Kitchen in Qualls, Oklahoma, is a historic restaurant known for its homemade country food and old-fashioned charm.
It says a lot about a restaurant when it can survive (and thrive) in today's modern world without a website and an inactive Facebook page. Jincy's Kitchen in Qualls, Oklahoma, is a humble little restaurant that is so old-fashioned that it pretty much has no online presence. There is no website. The Facebook page hasn't been updated in years and yet, locals flock to it for its delicious food year after year. This place is a hidden gem that's off the beaten path, but so worth the drive.
Jincy's Kitchen in Qualls, Oklahoma, is located in the middle of the country about 15 minutes from Lake Tenkiller. The outside is a rusty, old red barn that might not look like much, but it's like stepping back in time on the inside.
This old country store actually used to be a store and was used in the movie Red Fern.
They are only open Friday - Sunday and sometimes the line to get in can be as long as two hours. The menu is simple and only one page.
The country food is all homemade, except for the okra. They are famous for their fried chicken and cream gravy.
They also serve tacos, hamburger steaks, catfish, pan-fried chicken, and real mashed potatoes.
You'll also find a chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken sandwich for less than $12 on the menu...and it's very large.
The shelves still have some of the original items on them and it's like stepping back in time. On the first Thursday of the month, they also have live music, so it's a fun night to visit.
You can follow along on their Facebook page but from what we can tell, it hasn't been updated since 2019.
