Oklahoma always embraces the Christmas spirit by transforming many parks, businesses and buildings into magical places filled with holiday lights and decorations. The state is filled with festivities during the Christmas season, but one thing that is sure to bring out the holiday spirit, is a visit to one of Oklahoma’s magical Christmas light displays. The following are 17 places where you can go to find that bright holiday magic.
1. Rhema Christmas Lights, Broken Arrow
More than 2 million lights will decorate the campus of Rhema from Thanksgiving Eve through New Year's Day. The vibrant Rhema Park bridge acts as a remarkable centerpiece to the whole display. And back for another year is the "Christmas tree forest," a 14-foot tree surrounded by smaller, beautifully lit metal trees. You can drive around the campus, walk it, or take a horse-drawn carriage. 2. Downtown in December, Oklahoma City
Downtown Oklahoma City is turned into a winter wonderland during "Downtown in December" festivities. Visitors can go snow tubing down the nation's largest man-made slope, ice-skate outdoors, enjoy beautifully lit areas all around the neighborhood or take a water taxi excursion. 3. Snowman Wonderland, Seminole

4. Fantasy Land of Lights, Bartlesville

5. Chickasha Festival of Lights, Chickasha
As one of the top 10 light displays in the nation, The Festival of Light features over 3.5 million lights. Enjoy over four miles of lighted walkways and the festival’s illuminated 172-ft. 6. Twin Bridges Park of Lights, Fairland
As one of the largest Christmas lights displays in the area of Grand Lake State Park, Twin Bridges Park of Lights has a festive collection of over 40 displays. 7. Castle Christmas, Muskogee
Drive through Castleton Village, filled with over 2,000 holiday displays and thousands of colorful lights, creating an unforgettable experience. Take a hayride through the Village, or ride the ponies and camels. Stop inside The Castle for the Christmas Shoppe, free family movies, unique merchants, and the Kris Kringle Cafe’. 8. Crystal Christmas, Woodward
Over 2 million lights and over 40 holiday displays light up the cold, winter nights in Woodward. Watch the lights reflect off the serene waters of Crystal Beach Lake while driving or enjoy a lighted walking tour around the park. 9. Winter Wonderland Christmas Light Tour, Ketchum/Afton
This old fashioned Christmas lights display features over 400,000 lights near Grand Lake. Drive through the property of Pine Lodge Resort to see an array of decorated cabins, antique cars and holiday lights. Dates are Nov 24, 2016 to Jan 01, 2017. 10. Garden of Lights, Muskogee
The Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department presents The Garden of Lights, a display of over 1.2 million lights decorating the trees, bushes, and walkways throughout Honor Heights Park. The park is open every night from 6-10pm. A beautiful, glittering display is timed to holiday music as you drive through the park. Don’t miss the ice rink, refreshments and gift shop. 11. Philbrook Festival, Tulsa
Celebrate the holidays with Philbrook. The museum inside is festive and gorgeous and the lights in the garden are exquisite. Visit Thursday nights from 5-8pm during the festival on select nights and enjoy live music, a stroll through the glowing gardens, and meet with the featured festival artists in the Museum Shop. The Saturday before Thanksgiving the Philbrook throws a holiday party that everyone is invited to called Garden Glow. It begins the event for the Festival of Trees and is free to the public. 12. Woolaroc Wonderland of Lights, Bartlesville
The grounds and buildings of Woolaroc will be covered with over 750,000 lights as the historic ranch transforms itself into a magical winter wonderland! In addition to the lights, they have wagon rides, live entertainment, Santa Claus in the Museum, hot cider/hot chocolate and cookies for sale in the Lodge. Dates are Nov 25, 2016 to Dec 23, 2016. 13. Christmas In The Park, Yukon
Christmas in the Park consists of over 4 million twinkling lights and over 400 displays covering 100 acres of Freedom Trail Playground, City and Chisholm Trail Parks. A 50-ft. lighted Christmas tree comes alive when the lights are synchronized to holiday music. You can drive the park roads, walk the trails or take a horse-drawn carriage for a cozy ride. 14. Midwest City Holiday Lights Spectacular, Midwest City
For nearly 20 years, Midwest City has presented the Holiday Lights Spectacular, one of Oklahoma's brightest and longest drive-thru Christmas displays. Featuring over a million twinkling lights, the event is nearly a mile long and features both secular and religious displays. The lights are open Sunday through Thursday 6pm-10pm and Friday and Saturday 6pm-11pm through December 30th.

15. Ardmore Festival of Lights, Ardmore
Ardmore Regional Park is transformed into a winter wonderland in late November and stays open until December 30th. A drive-thru display of over 125 animated scenes and millions of lights delight visitors of all ages. Ardmore's Festival of Lights is quickly becoming one of the most popular light displays in the state. Dates are Nov 19, 2016 to Dec 30, 2016. 16. Christmas in the Park Elk City
The annual Elk City Christmas in the Park extravaganza lights up Ackley Park located on historic Rt. 66 in Elk City. Activities include rides on the candy cane express train, old fashioned horse-drawn carriages and rides on the centennial carousel.Catch a ride on the double-decker bus and see thousands of beautiful light displays while you enjoy delicious hot cocoa, all free on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00pm till 9:00pm. As part of the "Downtown in December" festivities in OKC, Myriad Botanical Gardens takes on a whole new glow at night with the illuminated Crystal Bridge.
