Ohio is home to some of the best coffee you’ll ever have the pleasure of sipping. From specialty house blends to frothy lattes and pour-overs, there’s something for every coffee connoisseur. The following are 15 of what we consider to be some of the best, most unique coffee establishments in Ohio, (listed in no particular order.)
1. Mission Coffee Co. (Columbus)
Located in the Short North district of Columbus, there's "coffee for the people, one cup at a time." 2. Generations Coffee House (Columbiana)
Generations Coffee House serves a seasonally rotating selection of single-origin coffees from roasters in Brooklyn, NY, San Francisco, CA and Pittsburgh, PA. It is located at 31 S. Main St., Columbiana, OH 44408.
3. Donkey Coffee and Espresso (Athens)

At Donkey Coffee and Espresso, you can take up a seat on a comfy couch and make yourself at home. In addition to serving up Athens' best coffee and espresso, the coffee shop showcases local artwork and regularly features local artists on its back room stage. 4. PLATE 21 (Toledo)

5. Treehouse Play Cafe (Grove City)
This lovely little cafe and coffee shop is perfect for the mom who needs a mid-morning or early afternoon coffee break. In addition to

6. Pour Cleveland

7. Mr. Smith's Coffe House (Sandusky)

8. Rost Coffee (Columbus)
Based out of Columbus, these specialty coffee roasters view coffee as "a vehicle that connects all walks of life."

10. Schlegel's Coffee (Chillicothe)
What was once a movie theater in the late 1800s and a jewelry business in the 60s is now Chillicothe's favorite coffee house. 11. Deeper Roots Coffee (Cincinnati)
