I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.

Anything you can do, I can do better. State pride runs deep here in Ohio, and OnlyInOhio is an exuberant celebration of everything that makes our state special. Despite the fact that Ohio gets a fair amount of snow -- especially in the Great Lakes region -- the state kind of shuts down when winter weather hits. We're not mad about it, though, because we love a good Ohio snow day!
If you've never had the taste sensation that is Cincinnati-style chili, you're missing out! Spicy and subtly sweet, this secret recipe chili takes a boring old plate of spaghetti to new heights -- literally -- when topped with a mountain of fresh-shredded cheddar.
There's college marching bands, and then there's *The* Ohio State Marching Band, AKA The Best Damn Band in the Land. No one puts on a halftime show quite like the OSU Marching Band. Our "Ohio" logo is iconic.
Maybe the Reds haven't won the World Series since 1990. Maybe the Bengals have always been a bridesmaid and never a Super Bowl bride. Maybe the Browns have had just three winning seasons. These are all minor details, friends -- Buckeye State sports fans are in it for the long haul... we don't know the meaning of "fair weather" fandom!
We have Jeni's and Graeter's, two nationally celebrated leaders of the industry... PLUS loads of local and longstanding dairies. How sweet it is to live in Ohio!
What other state celebrates its very spelling like this? You can literally travel across the globe, and, if you and your partner spell O-H with your arms, you'd better believe your fellow Buckeye Staters will respond with an "I" and "O." Now that's just plain awesome.
