The best restaurants are often hiding off the beaten path a bit. Momma's in Hillsboro, Ohio is one of the tastiest and homiest rural restaurants in the Buckeye State. From the home-cooked menu to the friendly atmosphere, it won't be long until you feel like a local when dining here. Here's why this rural Ohio restaurant belongs on your dining bucket list.
Housed in what appears to be a red barn from the outside, Momma's is the perfect roadside stop after a leisurely drive.
You'll find it along State Route 124 in Hillsboro, Ohio.
It might just be the only place in Ohio where you can find a Jumbo Frog Leg Dinner...
You can visit Momma's on Wednesday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
...and a tasty Prime Rib Dinner in the same place.
Please note: The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Inside, it's incredibly cozy. There's a fireplace for the colder months and seasonal decor, depending on what time of year it is.
It's not hard to see why it's "where families come home to eat."
On the menu, you'll find all the home-cooked classics, including some delicious breakfast options. (We recommend either the Apple or Blueberry Stack.)

Outside, there's plenty of places to dine when the weather is nice, including some quaint gazebo seating!
