With Memorial Day just around the corner, now is the time to consider how and where you will spend this important federal holiday. Although there are several monuments and local memorials scattered throughout Ohio to honor veterans, there are some sites in Ohio that serve to not only honor veterans but also showcase American history. Officially finished in 1847, this beautiful building is known for its distinctive rotunda and regularly hosts tours organized by the Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center.
