The main telescopes at the observatory were purchased in 1842 and 1904.
In the evenings, the observatory is open to the public to view the moon, stars and planets through the telescopes every Thursday and Friday night at 8:30 p.m.

You can visit the observatory during the day on Monday - Friday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
