Tucked away in Salt Fort State Park, the largest of its kind in Ohio, you'll find a rare, seasonal cave waterfall that can only be described as spellbinding. Here's more on why you'll want to make the trek to Hosak's Cave Falls in Ohio.
For an unforgettable outdoor adventure, we have just the trail in mind: Hosak Cave Trail.
This short-and-sweet trek is one-mile out and back, with a unique destination in store: a rare waterfall.
What makes Hosak Cave Falls so unique is that it's seasonal, meaning that you won't get to see it all year. Your best chances are after a heavy rainfall or during the spring.
The 50-foot waterfall is made up of two small streams, with the right stream being considerably larger in volume. Even still, this isn't a rushing gorge but more of a trickle.
Of course, the cave itself is worth checking out any time of the year, even if there's no waterfall to be seen.
After you're finished exploring Hosak's Cave Falls, you'll find endless opportunity for adventure within Salt Fork State Park.
