Holiday Spirits just opened in OTR in spring of 2019 and it has already become a favorite hang out. The bar and restaurant offer a unique menu of drinks and food, as we as the lovable atmosphere of a classic dive, but without the signs of age.
The historic building that now houses Holiday Spirits was transformed from a vacant space into a cool mix of new and old. You'll find industrial elements mixed in with the historic bricks, and the unique decor completes the look.
Holiday Spirits is the bar portion of this dive, and they have it all. There are plenty of beers on tap, a creative cocktail list, and vintage games like Skee-ball.
The folks at Holiday Spirits want you to have a unique experience, so they offer drinks that you won't find anywhere else. Feel like you're on vacation with a slushie or one of their other frozen, blended drinks.
Within Holiday Spirits is Four Thieves, the adjacent restaurant that can be accessed via a walk-up window. There's one inside and one out on the patio, and the menu filled with Arab and Israeli street food may surprise you.
It's not often that you find authentic flavors at a dive bar, but Four Thieves is no ordinary place. Enjoy a meal of falafel, beef shawarma, grilled chicken, and warm pita, among other tasty choices.
If it's patio season when you visit, be sure to take advantage of the large outdoor space at Holiday Spirits. There are several tables, shaded areas, and easy access to both the food and drinks, making this a perfect hang out spot.
Though only having opened a few months ago, visitors to Holiday Spirits are in agreement that this restaurant and bar is a welcome addition to the OTR and Queen City dining scene. Head to this dive in Cincinnati to enjoy an old-meets-new experience with great food and drinks to go along with it.
