Most people don’t know The Bicycle Museum of America is hiding right here in the Buckeye State and it’s a true treasure. Visiting this one-of-a-kind museum is like taking a small step back in time, when bicycles were constantly evolving and improvements were being made with each new year. The next time you find yourself near the small town of New Bremen, you need to take some time to explore this world renowned museum.

In spite of its world-renowned collection, this little-known museum is quietly hiding in the small town of New Bremen. It's a definite bucket list item.

Hundreds and hundreds of bicycles from decades past fill the rooms. It's like a giant time capsule that bike enthusiasts will especially appreciate.

You can take a guided tour or explore the museum yourself. There's also an onsite theatre that teaches you all about the history of this beloved invention.
One of the coolest exhibits in the museum is the World's First Bicycle. It's a national treasure that dates all the way back to 1816.

With more than 300 bikes displayed at all times and more than 1,000 in rotation, there's so much to see here.
You can even give some select bikes a stationary spin. (If you've ever wanted to try out a unicycle, this is probably the way to do it.)

The Bicycle Museum of America is open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the fall and winter. During the spring and summer, you can visit Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
With a highly knowledgable staff and only $3 for admission, this is a one-of-a-kind historical experience you just can't get anywhere else.
