There’s nothing like a fall festival in Ohio—and there’s nothing like homemade apple butter.
Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio is a charming canal town Ohio history buffs will absolutely love. Complete with horse-drawn canal boat rides, living history tours and old-fashioned shops, this is one town everyone in Ohio needs to explore at least once. During the third weekend in October, the town hosts an annual apple butter festival that’s downright picture perfect.
Close to some of the most scenic parts of Ohio Amish Country, you'll find this historic village that's a true Ohio gem.
You'll find it at 600 N Whitewoman St. in Coshocton, Ohio.
Roscoe Village is a restored 1830s canal town full of fun places to explore. When you're here, you'll feel as if you've temporarily stepped back in time.
Year round, guided living history tours are offered via reservation from January - March. From April - May, you can take a 1 p.m. guided tour on Monday - Sunday. Rates start at $10.95 per adult, $9.95 per seniors and $4.95 per student.

The annual Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival celebrates the magical autumn season.
With more than 100 vendors, living history tours, one-of-a-kind crafts, live entertainment and historical building tours, there's truly something here for everyone.
Admission is $5 for ages 12 and up. The festival takes place Friday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
