Northern California looks a lot different than it did in the 1940s. Luckily for us, some rarely viewed photos of the greatest generation, the generation that fought in WWII and went on to live the American Dream, are surfacing. Whether you look at these photos and see the lives your grandparents, your parents, or even you once lived, there's nothing like a nostalgic throwback to this pivotal time in American history.
