Hiding in Klamath is a stunning overlook that nature lovers are sure to love. The Klamath River Overlook is located high up on a bluff on the north side of the Klamath River mouth. On a clear day, the view is downright breathtaking and you don't want to miss it.
The overlook is part of Redwood National and State Parks. Despite the fact that this overlook provides some of the most jaw-dropping vistas you'll ever witness, the off-the-beaten-path location ensures that you'll probably have this place to yourself. That's just fine by us!
To get to the overlook you'll have to travel through the tiny but delightful town of Requa. You'll drive westward on Requa Road until the road quite literally runs out and you arrive at the overlook's parking lot.
Once you arrive, step out of the car and soak up the views. It doesn't get much better than this. The wide view of the pristine coastline and rugged cliffs seems to go on forever. On a clear day, it seems like you can see out for miles.
