This small university is located in Colfax, a town in the Sierra foothills. At about 2,000 feet in elevation, this forest-covered area is covered in snow in the winter and has pleasant temperatures in the summer.
It was established in 1978 and is focused on health and education. The campus is a beautiful place to explore.

Breakfast or lunch is $16.50 for ages 12 and older, $6.75 for children ages 4-11, and free for children ages 3 and under.
Breakfast is from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. and lunch from 1-1:45 p.m. They’re also open on Sunday from breakfast (8-9 a.m.) and lunch (1-1:45 p.m.).
