Explore Waterfalls, Mountains, And River Gorges When You Visit North Carolina’s Gorges State Park
Exploring North Carolina’s state parks should be at the top of the priority list for outdoor adventures in the Tar Heel State. Many of them are absolutely overlooked by scores of residents and visitors alike, including the beautiful Gorges State Park in Transylvania County. Found along the North Carolina and South Carolina border, Gorges State Park is named for Jocassee Gorges in which the park is located.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
