This U-Pick Sunflower Farm In North Carolina Is The Perfect Way To Spend An Afternoon
If you’re like us, then sunflowers just naturally make you smile. So imagine the size of your grin when you visit this huge u-pick sunflower field in North Carolina. For at least the last three years, the Raised In A Barn Farm in Chocowinity has opened their fields for a couple of weekends each summer for sunflower picking – and you won’t want to miss it.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. Last year, the u-pick sunflowers were $1 each, or 12 blooms for $10. Prices may vary this season. Raised In A Barn Farm is located a mere 20 miles southeast of Greenville and only five miles south of Washington, North Carolina.
