Enjoy Authentic Ethnic Foods While Supporting Aspiring Entrepreneurs At West Side Bazaar In New York

There’s certainly no shortage of ethnic foods in New York. After all, the Big Apple alone is known as a melting pot of culture for a reason, and you can’t shake a stick without hitting a new international restaurant. No matter your tastes, there’s something for you here, and it’s probably close by. Tacos or Chinese, Jamaican or Ethiopian, we’ve got it all. But what if we told you you could have food from different countries all under one roof? West Side Bazaar offers just that.

The West Side Bazaar is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009. The aim was to provide a large market in which aspiring entrepreneurs could set up booths to sell their wares and foods.

Since startup costs are much less in such an environment, the risks are lower than if the individuals were starting new businesses from scratch. The Bazaar features immigrants that are looking to share their culture while integrating into American ways.
Several shops are located within the bazaar. You can purchase items such as Indian and Nepali clothing and arts created in the traditional Burmese style.

From Rwandan jewelry to Iraqi macrame art, you'll feel like you're jet-setting off to other countries when you walk through this place.
And don't even get us started on the food! West Side Bazaar currently features seven different restaurants. If you're a food-loving sort that frequently has diverse cravings, you'll be in heaven here.
