There are small restaurants, and then there are really small restaurants. Then, in a class all of its own, there is the World’s Smallest Diner. The Watkins Glen establishment, which is also known as Micro Diner, has set the record for being the actual world’s smallest diner, according to WORLD RECORD ACADEMY. This is all to say that its name its no exaggeration. The diner is really that small! It’s one of the quirkiest places in the county to eat a hot dog, and it is surely the best tiny diner in New York. To learn more about this singular establishment, keep reading, below.

The diner was opened back in August 2017 by Gerry Collins, who at that point was 76. Collins has worked in the food service industry for his entire life.

The tiny establishment is 34-square-feet, and holds four people. It only has three stools. It's a tight squeeze, but it's worth it! We think everyone should be able to brag that they have eaten at the world's smallest diner.
