Almost everyone loves the tale of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland story. It's universally known. The story has so many twists and turns and it's so strange, we can't help but be intrigued by it - even into adulthood.
Sisters Haley and Lauren Fox founded this cafe in 2001 and it has been going strong ever since.
The original location is on West 73rd Street; the largest location is on East 64th. Both of these locations have dine-in options and outdoor seating when it's nice out.
You'll really feel like you're sitting down to a tea party with Alice, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and of the Dormouse. You should try the scones. They're excellent - and they come in a number of different flavors that vary by the day.
This granola may be the best you've ever had. It's homemade with spiced oats, shredded coconut, brown sugar, honey, pecans, walnuts, apricots and cranberries and is served with fresh berries and Greek yogurt. YUM!
Scones and granola are only the beginning, though. You can get anything your brunch heart desires here. Try a benedict, some crepes, pancakes, or French toast.

Of course, this tea house also has lots and lots of tea. Alice's Tea Cup has over 100 teas, in fact, and the waitstaff will be more than happy to suggest some of his or her favorites.
