A weekend-long event happening in the village of Chittenango, Oz-Stravangza is a way to celebrate all things Oz that's history goes all the way back to the late 1970s.
Each year, people from all over gather in Chittenango to follow the yellow brick sidewalks that actually exist in town.
In the heart of this tiny village, you'll find where all the excitement will be happening between Friday, May 31st and Sunday, June 2nd.
Happening in Dr. West Park, you'll get to see the park filled up with amusement rides, endless local vendors, live music, and lots of family-friendly activities.

The longest running Wizard of Oz festival of its kind, throughout the weekend you can check out the different costume contests that are hosted.
As you walk through the village and park, you'll see everyone from Dorothy to Glenda the Good Witch.
Each year the festival welcomes in special guests, in the past visitors have even been able to meet with actual Munchkin actors from the movie.

Making its way through Chittenango, the Oz-Stravaganza annual parade brings out floats like you wouldn't believe.
From shooting rainbows and yellow brings to tornadoes and poppies, Oz-Stravaganza's parade might be the most whimsical one that you ever witness.
When you're ready to wind down from all of the excitement surrounding the park in town, history buff's can dive into everything that's housed inside the All Things Oz Museum.
From costumes that the actors once wore to historic items and souvenirs, any fan of L. Frank Baum or The Wonderful Wizard of Oz will light up with a smile as they begin to explore this small-town museum.
