Pojoaque is another affordable place to live in New Mexico. There are great employment opportunities in this town of 1,907, but rent is a little bit higher than the national average.

If you love peace and quiet, you will want to check out some of the most peaceful towns in New Mexico.  Radium Springs, with its population of 1,699, is a wonderful small community located about 20 miles north of Las Cruces.
