There are numerous hikes to take in the Land of Enchantment, but the difficult ones are on top of lofty mountains and the easier ones just don’t always cut it. This trail in Elena Gallegos Open Space in Albuquerque is right in our backyard and is a shorter version of a strenuous hike in the park. While this version of the trail won’t take as much out of you, it’s still incredibly interesting with unique rock formations and views that are second to none. One of the best parts is that this ABQ hike is great whether there’s snow on the ground or the sun is blazing. No matter the time of year, this easy hike in Duke City is interesting and beautiful.
