The weekend is coming up! If you’re looking for something truly unique to enjoy with friends or a loved one, then how does a tour sound? We’re not talking any old walking tour, either, but one that involves tasty treats afterward!
Cacao Santa Fe is just the place to find such an experience! This craft chocolate maker specializes in creating some tasty chocolate-based treats made in small batches.
All of their chocolate starts with quality nibs sourced from Latin America.
These are roasted, sifted, ground, and mixed into a smooth liquid to be molded.
And, after all that, you get some seriously good chocolate bars to eat!
The chocolate is definitely tasty but it’s their hour-long factory tours that have really caught our attention!
During the Saturday morning tour, you'll get an up-close view of the chocolate making process, from bean to chocolate bar!
Once you've witnessed just how chocolate is made, you'll get a chance to try it out in their relaxing tasting room.
They offer a variety of chocolates...
...or you can try out a drink, like their Mexican hot chocolate.
Once you've finished the tour, don't forget to stop by the retail area so you can take some chocolate home!
Cacao Santa Fe is located at 3201 Richards Lane, Suite B, in Santa Fe. The tour takes place at 11 am on Saturdays and costs $10 per person over age 12. Reservations are required. You can find details about booking the tour and other services by visiting their website, cacaosantafe.com.
