Sitting just east of Albuquerque in the Sandia Mountains, this farm makes the perfect day trip away from the city.

Hollywick Farms began in 2007 with five alpacas. Since its inception, it has grown almost five-fold, with 24 Huacaya alpacas currently living on their land.

A lot of the items are fashioned on-site, but others are imported from places like Peru, which is another place known for its alpaca farming.
Workshops are also offered periodically, such as a fiber arts class or felted hat class, that teach visitors how to create textiles using the fur of the alpaca.
