Located in Sandoval County, New Mexico is the small village of Corrales. The Rio Grande runs through this hamlet of fewer than 9,000 people.
In Corrales, you will find Perea's Tijuana Bar and Restaurant. Occupying a building that's more than 200 years old, Perea's Tijuana Bar first opened in the 1920s during the Prohibition era.
Whether it's a tamale plate, carne adovada, huevos rancheros, or any other New Mexican item on the menu, you're sure to love each bite. Entrees are served with beans, a side of the day, red or green chili, and either one tortilla or two sopaipillas.
