Elephant Rock Campground offers both tent and trailer campsites. There are 22 single sites available throughout the campground.
There are several amenities to ensure you have an enjoyable stay at this campground including picnic tables, drinking water, and vault toilets.
During your stay, make sure to bring your fishing pole. This campground is near the Red River and Eagle Rock Lake, which are both typically well-stocked with fish and are the perfect day trip destinations.
Keep in mind that to protect Eagle Rock Lake, swimming and boating are not allowed.
Not far from the Elephant Rock Campground is the Red River Caves and Mountain Trail that you’ll want to explore.
This is an easy 1.4-mile out-and-back trail that will take you to some gorgeous scenery, unique caves, and old mineshafts. It is one trail that your family will likely talk about for months to come.
