Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey is a shore staple. Who hasn’t spent a summer here? Open since 1928, it’s brought joy to families for generations. It started out with a candy shop, soda fountain, refreshment stand, novelty store, and a swimming pool. A dance hall and mini-golf were soon added.

Today, the boardwalk has rides, games, restaurants, an obstacle course, entire amusement park, and more. A highlight is the family-friendly Jenkinson’s Aquarium. Open since 1991, it’s a delight for kids and adults alike.
