New Hampshire has a lot to offer throughout the year but as we’ve been saying a lot these days, winter might be the best! We’ve loving ski trips and snow tubing, but the only problem are the lines that come with limited capacity. For that reason we’ve been on the hunt for the smaller, lesser-known spots to get outside. And this little resort is one of our favorites!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The first trail on the mountain was cut in 1934 and while the slopes didn't become what they are today for quite a few years, we still have a special place in our hearts for the history here. A lot of people don't know that one of the first snow making systems in the region!
This is a place you'll want to visit before the season is over!

Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
