Today, we use telephones more than ever. You may even be reading this article on a phone right now! The telephone has gone through numerous changes in its 150-year history. Today's internet-capable smartphones with apps and ringtones have come a long way from Alexander Graham Bell's original invention. One fascinating museum in New Hampshire where you can learn all about the history of the telephone is the New Hampshire Telephone Museum in Warner. This is one of our favorite small museums in the state, and it's got such an interesting collection of communication-related memorabilia!
The museum houses all kinds of telephones, dating back to the device's early beginnings.
You'll see all kinds of novelty phones you may recognize from your childhood!
You've got the option of taking a guided tour of the small museum or going on a self-guided tour.
There's even an app you can download on your phone that will provide extra information about the displays.

This is not a large museum, but it's got a lot of charm and there are over 1,000 artifact packed in here. The displays are very informative and there are special rotating exhibits, so you might see something new each time you visit.
Young kids might not be interested in the exhibits here, but it's a surprisingly fascinating place where you're sure to learn a lot about the history of telephones.
