Do you love browsing for hours through antique and vintage shops? If so, have we got the superstore for you! R.S. Butler's Trading Post is one of New Hampshire's largest shops, and you'll want to go on a treasure hunt there soon.
Welcome to R.S. Butler's Trading Company. This huge, bright pink antique superstore is hard to miss, and it's stuffed full with unique vintage and antique items.
Address: 102 1st New Hampshire Turnpike, Northwood, NH, 03261
Step into the main shop, and take a trip right back in time. You'll find everything from 19th century furniture to groovy decor from the 1960s. The main shop is 3,200 square feet, so you'll want to wear your comfortable shoes for this treasure hunt.
Up under the eaves, you'll find suitcases and traveling trunks. This really is just like grandma's attic, and because owners Don and Colleen Pingree source all the items themselves, they can often tell you about the history of a piece - just like grandma!
If vintage clothing is your gig, you'll be in heaven going through the racks here. You'll find everything from Hawaiian shirts to 1970s-era jumpers, plus the accessories to make your outfit complete.
You'll definitely want to spend some time searching through the bins of vinyl. Don Pingree has been a music collector since he was a child, and vintage vinyl is his passion. If you share his enthusiasm, you'll come back again and again to see what new finds he's added.
There are tons of great items salvaged from old buildings, too. From windows to cast iron bathtubs and antique mantels, you're certain to find some one-of-a-kind architectural salvage items to add to your next home renovation.
This place has one of the largest selection of antique and vintage garden items you've ever seen. Pick up a new-to-you bird bath, patio set, or cement statuary.
When you're done scouring the main building, head out to the barn in the backyard for even more! The barn is two stories, and has a total of 2,000 square feet.
R.S. Butler's is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in soon to see what vintage finds are waiting for you.
