The Largest Quilting Store In New Hampshire Has Over 10,000 Supplies

What is known is that the act of piecing and adding appliques has been happening for centuries. And its no wonder! Quilting is one of the most relaxing and calming crafts that we have and there are a lot of ways to do it. Whether you’re a professional or just starting out, you’ll find everything you need at this store.

Welcome to your one-stop-shop for quilting enthusiasts! Located in Center Harbor, Keepsake Quilting has everything you need under one beautiful roof.

The store is now a household name, but it didn't start out with a physical location. The store's roots are in the original catalog which was launched in 1986 by Judy and Russ Sabanek. The response was so huge, the very next year the store opened its doors and it's been thriving ever since.

Anyone who's starting out in quilting knows that one of the most daunting things can be getting everything you need. It can feel like every time you take on a new project, there's something you've forgotten to have on-hand.

And that's why we love this place so much. They have so many supplies and so much fabric, you won't need to go anywhere else.

Today the operation is run by the Kimelman family.

The wide array of fabric is just part of the draw.

You'll also find patterns, notions, appliques and even tools for other crafts.

Depending on the season, you'll always find something special so that you can change your work often.

People love coming here not just for what's on their shelves, but also for the incredible teaching. There's always a smiling face to help answer questions.

And there are workshops running throughout the year. If you're just a beginner or trying to perfect a hard-to-grasp skill there's likely a day to show up and learn more.

In addition to workshops, the store also offers a longarm machine for rental. All you need to do is take their certification course and you'll have access to it for some of your more difficult projects.

While stopping in to see what's new is a great idea, one of the most popular events all year is the sidewalk-sale. Things go quickly, so you'll want to be there early!
