As the days get longer and the temperatures slowly become warmer we have one thing on the brain. Summer! And with that comes the need to start planning our getaways, activities and fun times. We've got a few hikes on our list as well as some great restaurants, but this experience tops them all. An overnight on a beautifully renovated houseboat is exactly what we need to start looking forward to warmer weather!
The Vagabond, a recently remodeled 50-foot houseboat, is docked at Badgers Island Marina on the Piscataqua River.
But you don't need to be a captain to enjoy the beauty of this incredible overnight experience. The Vagabond is parked at the dock for you to enjoy a few beautiful, but easy night aboard a beautiful boat.
She sleeps 6 people in 2 bedrooms. There's a queen bed in both bedrooms plus a queen pullout sofa. And there's a master bath with a head and sink. The main bathroom features a shower, head and sink.
The kitchen, or galley, includes everything you need to entertain your friends with seating for 6 people.
The airy living room has a queen pullout couch and a 32-inch flat screen TV. Don't worry, you can still Netflix and chill while you're on the water!
The vibe here is both homey and airy, filled with windows that let in lots of light.
There's also a wonderful outdoor deck on the roof that allows for even more beautiful views.
The marina has everything else you might need, including a full sized grill, picnic tables and Adirondack chairs.
This is a beautiful place to enjoy the waters of New Hampshire. And it can be all yours!
