The Falls in the River Trail offers 3.5 miles of woodland hiking surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural landscape in the state. Contrary to the name, you probably won't actually land in the river.

When not hugging the water, the trail meanders through the forest. In some places you'll find exposed roots and rock, so be careful to watch your step. There are also a few areas where you may be scrambling along rock, though these are reported to be minimal and simple enough for kids.
