If You Live In New Hampshire, You Must Take This Aerial Tram Over The White Mountains
It’s no secret that New Hampshire’s mountains are beautiful. We love to drive through them or hike in them, but we don’t often get the chance to see them from the air. Which it just why the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway is so special.

During the winter this state-owned mountain in Franconia is a favorite ski destination. In the summer, it is just as amazing, known for the tram that whisks visitors to the summit, providing beautiful views over the White Mountains.

The view from the summit (4,080 feet about sea level) is beautiful.

On a clear day you can see mountains in four states and Canada from the summit. There are also walking trails, a cafe, and a bar.

Of course, the ride up is part of the thrill. The 80-person tram summits the mountain in just ten minutes.

During the summer the slopes of the mountain are closed because of the black bears who call the area home. The tram is the perfect way to spot these gentle giants.

No wonder so many people love visiting the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram!

The tram is open from May 21 through October 16th. The last ride down is at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
