While winter has given New Hampshire one (hopefully) last blast of snow, the sights of spring will be appearing soon. Trees will be leafing out again, and best of all, wildflowers will be popping up from the ground. Seeing the color return to the world is one of my favorite parts of the spring season. If you also need a dose of spring color, check out Wildflower Trail at Beaver Brook Association in Hollis for a display of some of the prettiest wildflowers in New Hampshire.

The Beaver Brook Association trails in Hollis add up to lots and lots of miles. Fortunately, you only need to walk one short path, Wildflower Trail, to see some great spring color.

You won't need any fancy hiking gear for this trek, just a pair of comfortable shoes.
Along this fully-accessible trail you'll find specimens of spring wildflowers native to New Hampshire, such as Bloodroot.
