But if you’re not from here or are not familiar with this part of the country, you may not realize how much the state has to offer. Sure, the rugged individualism and spectacular scenery are fairly well-known, but there’s so much more to the Granite State. Find out why New Hampshire is the best state.
Nearly 90% of the Granite State is forested. Rising above those forests are some of the most majestic mountains this side of the Mississippi River, including the highest point, Mt. Washington.
While New Hampshire's seacoast is the shortest in the nation at around 13 miles, there is still plenty of fun in the sun to be had at the edge of the state.
