People have been flocking to New Hampshire as a summer haven for centuries. When you look back on these picture of the 1960s, note what’s changed, but also what hasn’t. It looks like New Hampshire residents still love many of the same things that they did in the 1960s – great adventures, great friends, and great food. Have a look!

1. In the 1960s, people still loved camping, as you can see in this picture from the Gunstock Campground in Laconia.

2. Families 60 years ago loved hiking Cannon Mountain. Now this boy could be hiking with his grandchildren!

3. The bear shows at Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln have long been a hit!

4. Something different: In the 1960s the Old Man was still watching over the state.
