This quintessential, casual American diner has a truly homey feel thanks to owners Larry and Diane Chumley.

In addition to the wonderful ambiance and exceptional, friendly service, this mom & pop diner has some of the best food in Nevada. From breakfast to lunch to dinner (and especially dessert), Mom's has it all, including gluten-free and low-fat options.

Among Mom's Diner's most delicious breakfast items is the Kitchen Sink Omelet that is chock full of pretty much every breakfast item you can think of and served with homemade potatoes. The homestyle biscuits and gravy are also to die for.

All sandwich meats are slow roasted and hand-carved on the premises. Mom's also has about the best potato salad you've ever tasted.

The Mom-strosity Burger is a crowd favorite. This half-pound homemade, hand-formed ground chuck patty is topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, "gooey" cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, and Mom's Mystery Sauce and is served atop a garlic Kaiser roll. With fries, of course.

Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn is an iconic and mouthwatering diner dish and Mom's Diner's is absolutely fabulous.

Mom's serves a variety of fish entrees like this Coca-Cola battered orange roughy with orange citrus sauce that is served with au gratin potatoes and vegetables. Additional entrees include breaded pork cutlets, fried shrimp, hot turkey or beef sandwiches, and steak.

What would an American diner be without beef liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn? The answer: not a true American diner.

And then there's dessert. Mom's serves a wide variety of scrumptious homemade pies, cakes, and cobblers (pictured: peach) - with or without ice cream.
