Located approximately three miles west of downtown Las Vegas, Springs Preserve is an unexpected oasis hiding out in southern Nevada. The 180-acre attraction is well-known among locals for its nature walks, displays, botanical gardens, and family-friendly events. There’s always something going on at Springs Preserve, especially during the holiday season! For instance, this beautiful place hosts a holiday train ride every year and it’s a unique family attraction that you don’t want to miss.
There's never a bad time to visit the popular Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, but the holiday season is an especially great time to plan an outing. After all, the park's annual holiday train ride is all you need this holiday season.
This year, the Holiday Express at Springs Preserve will be available every weekend of December from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all other event days. Spaces for this event are limited, so definitely be sure to make your reservations well in advance.
The Springs Preserve's Holiday Express may not be an
actual train, but it will still whisk you away on an unforgettable ride. After you and your family board the charming "train", you'll be led on a delightful journey to Santa's Village.
Once at the village, families can get out and enjoy all of the fine activities that it has to offer. From personal time with Santa in his cottage to festive craft and cookie decorating, your day is bound to be filled with amazing holiday-themed fun.
Other unique activities you'll experience at Santa's Village include story time, reindeer games, and playing in the "snow." It's the one time a year the park turns into a winter wonderland, and it's a magical thing to experience with loved ones.
There will be multiple train departures every day that the event is taking place, but guests are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled departure time to go through the check-in process. All in all, this family-friendly experience lasts around an hour and 15 minutes.
Admission to this popular event costs $10 for members and $12 for non-members. It's free to attend for all children 2 and younger. Make some amazing holiday memories and be sure to ride the Holiday Express this year! More information can be found
