Looking at it today, it's hard to believe the super tiny town of Goodsprings was once the centerpiece of an extremely productive mining district. Founded in 1904, it is now a quiet community with just a couple hundred residents.
A lot of time has passed since the town's prosperous mining days, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the place. Goodsprings contains many original buildings, and in many ways it still resembles the Wild West town that it once was.
Of these historic buildings, the most infamous is the Pioneer Saloon. Considered the oldest saloon in the state, it's home to all sorts of strange tales and stories. It was most notably where Clark Gable waited while rescue crews searched for his wife, Carol Lombard, after a deadly plane crash on a nearby mountain.
If you walk inside, you'll even see the bullet holes left behind from the bar's rowdier days. However, those aren't the only things that have been left behind. Many employees and visitors have reported paranormal experiences that have occurred in the bar, and it's a well-known haunt among locals.
The Pioneer Saloon is Goodsprings' most notable haunted location, but ghostly sightings have occurred all over town. In fact, the humble community has become a popular destination for ghost hunts and paranormal enthusiasts looking to make contact with lingering spirits.
