Are there any other group campgrounds in Nevada?

Nevada has several other group campgrounds. Some of my favorites include:

Large groups can stay in the C Loop of Grey Cliffs Group Campground. There are three sites here, and one additional site in the A Loop.

There are three group-use campsites at Valley of Fire State Park, each one accommodating up to 45 people. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (702) 397-2088.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has only one developed campground, which offers both single and group campsites.

Some of the best places to go camping in Nevada include:

  • Cathedral Gorge State Park, Panaca

Full of unique rock formations, this state park has 22 campsites that each offer a table, grill, and shade ramada.

  • Black Rock Desert-High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, Gerlach

With over 120 miles of trails, the Black Rock Desert-High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails NCA does not have any developed campgrounds, but dispersed camping is allowed.

  • Ruby Mountains Scenic Area, Sparks

Five campgrounds as well as numerous primitive campsites are available in this mountainous oasis.
