The living ghost town of Goldfield, Nevada doesn't contain a ton of amenities, but there is one place you can grab a delicious homestyle meal—The Dinky Diner.
Featuring a sign out front that says "Great Home Cooking", you can bet your bottom dollar that some good eats await you here. The diner is definitely quaint and the interior isn't much to write home about, but the food definitely leaves an impression.
The Dinky Diner is a lovely little slice of authentic Americana. The menu is comprised of your typical diner-style dishes, including sandwiches, salads, burgers, hot dogs, and more.
However, the breakfast really is the highlight of this lovely eatery. Served from 7:00 am to noon, they boast a wide variety of breakfast dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty omelet, hearty egg breakfast, or a stack of pancakes, this place is bound to hit the spot.
All food is made-to-order and served piping hot, straight off the grill. You open-air kitchen is actually in perfect view of the dining area, giving this place a very cozy small-town feel.
Since it's the only restaurant in town (which has a population of 250), the Dinky Diner can definitely be packed at times. However, it's well worth the wait. In fact, eating here is much more than grabbing a quick meal—it's like experiencing a little piece of Goldfield living.
