1. Gannon Travel

3. Memorial Stadium, Lincoln

4. Moostash Joe Tours

This Fremont-based company has been operating tours to destinations all over the world for more than 40 years, but their Nebraska destinations are absolutely fantastic. The coach tours can take you to see the Cedar County Cathedrals, visit the landmarks of Western Nebraska, take in the Amish charm of Pawnee City, and many more.

5. Nebraska Capitol Building, Lincoln

A tour of this spectacular building is almost a requirement for any Nebraskan. Tours start every hour, on the hour (except noon), so there's always a convenient time to see where the government magic happens.

6. Kreycik Elk & Buffalo Tours, near Niobrara

This tour of a working elk and buffalo ranch lets you get up close and personal with these majestic creatures. You'll cover the grounds in a tractor-drawn covered wagon, and you'll get the chance to feed the animals as you ride around the scenic ranch.

7. The 2016 Nebraska Passport Tours

The Nebraska Passport is a wonderful program from the Nebraska Tourism Commission designed to inspire people to explore our state. The destinations change every year, and at each stop you visit you get a stamp in your "passport." Complete them all and you'll get some special prizes. This year there are 80 stops distributed over 10 tours, comprised of historical locations, restaurants, art galleries, and so much more all over the state. The program is designed to take all summer to complete. This is a definite must for the dedicated Nebraska traveler.

8. Nebraska Wine Tours

Nebraska Wine Tours takes you on some fascinating journeys to some of Nebraska's finest vineyards and wineries. All of the details are taken care of for you: transportation between locations, wine tastings, and even some behind-the-scenes tours to give you an experience like no other. 9. Omaha Brew Bus

In much the same fashion as the wine tours, the Brew Bus transports you to breweries and distilleries where you'll tour the facilities and sample some of their wares. There are four tours available, and you can also book the bus for group tours or private parties.Find out more here.

10. Omaha Culinary Tours

Take a walking tour through some of Omaha's historic districts, visiting hot spots and learning about the area at the same time. Three tours are currently available. Or take a cooking class to hone your own gourmet skills. Find out more here.

11. River City Star Riverboat

This quaint paddlewheel river boat gives you a perfect view of the beautiful Missouri River banks and takes you past some important historical sights. You can choose from a regular 1-3 hour tour or take a lunch or dinner cruise. The boat can also be booked for weddings, corporate retreats, and other events.
